I'm going to attempt to install CFW in on my psp today and all I want to do with it is play psp isos and psx games.. I plan on running 3.80m33. Do I need to install the 1.50 kernal? I don't understand what it does. Thanks!

well you need it for running homebrews and it only works on the phat psps so if you have a phat one you will need to install it.

Thanks man. I've been reading something about creating a 'GAME150' folder. Since I plan on using 3.80m33 would I need to put all my iso's and PSX EBOOTs in there? What is the purpose of that? Thanks again.

You don't need to worry about it, it's there for homebrew and emulators that use the 1.50 kernel.

For PSP games (ISOs and CSOs), you place them here;

ms0:/ISO/<gamename>.iso

For PSX games (EBOOTs), you place them here;

ms0:/PSP/GAME/<gamename>/<gamename>.pbp
