no, but it is the safest way, though.

go HERE, and go to the 2.00/2.01 section. that'll tell you what to do.

I had to up grade to 2.60(I not up grading anymore because I dont wont' to deal with the whole pandora issue). DO I really need grand theft auto to downgrade from 2.60. Also, can I run PSP Themes with this version?

no themes. only 3.70+ official and custom firmware can do it.

gta is needed if you upgraded to 2.81+. 2.80 and below still have a generic downgrader. go to the link i posted earlier and look at the 2.60 section.



pandora's battery is the best way to get to custom firmware, because if you brick during downgrade/upgrading, you MUST use pandora's battery to get the psp working again.

I'm running into one problem. I upgraded from 2.6 to 2.71 because the site said it'd be easier. But for some reason when I get to the step where it says go to the photo icon and select the slideshow, all it says is "The slideshow cannot be started, there are no images. What's going on. I did everything it said.
