1.50 flashed to 3.52m33-3 now not working...help

Hey folks, I have got a bit of a problem here...I have always had a version 1.50 PSP since May 2004 and always emulated. So by using homebrews and using Devhook for my back-upped ISOs I never messed with the Firmware. But...recently I decided to try out M33 since I was interested in using the firmwares where devhook didn't go.

I used 3.51 m33 without any problem; I was able to load up my ISOs of the games I back-upped. Then recently I updated the custom firmware from 3.51 m33 to 3.52 m33-3 and it still worked great allowing me to play my ISOs. But this afternoon I booted it up and every one of my isos were instead booting up Lumines UMD. I checked the firmware and it stil said 3.52 m33-3 yet its now acting as if its a legit version of 3.52...

I feel as if I got royally screwed somehow yet I have no idea where it went wrong or why. I hope someone here could shed some light on this case and figure out if there?s a fix to this.

how very odd

i know i had a problem with iso no loading but when i loaded them they didnt load the UMD

now there are a load of setting in recovery mode for iso so have a play about with them

1)advanced
2)then advanced configuration
3)turn plain modules off and execute boot.bin off as well
4)go to configuration
5)change UMD Mode and chnage that to m33 or sony NP9660

that should fix the problem

Ok, booted it up in recovery mode and had it go back to firmware 1.50

Now im rewriting it ti 3.52 m33...so its good to know I was able to restart it, hopefully I wont hit a road block again.

Thanks for mentioning the recovery thing, didn't know how to boot up that screen til I read up on it.

Now my only concern, for some reason my PSP's accept button changed from X to Circle, any reason for that?

yer go back to the recovery mode and go to reg hacks and then change the o to x or x to o
