I have Japnese wii (3.1J)
with Wiikey updated to 1.9S.
In wiikey 1.9S config , What is Dev mode?
What does it do? Should I turn it ON or OFF
(I am actually trying to play USA SSBB on my Japanese wii.)

on Wii brick blocker, Do I need to use this on every wii iso file I download? I heard that this helps blocking update, but Don't new released game need some updates?

i can only answer the question regarding wbb, wbb simply removes the update from the game iso and thus preventing the game to brick your wii therefore u dont have to use it if u are careful enough. some new games DO need the update but u better make sure the game is from the same region as your wii.
