Alright im extremely pissed, and I need a some help...

I ordered a premodded wii with a d2ckey, but i cant be sure that its modded with one, only evidence I have is that when games are loading, theres this beep sound and when the beep sound dosen't happen, the game freezes!!! it didnt bother me at first, as I would simply take the backup game out and reinsert it and it would work but now that im playing umbrella chronicals I rarely hear the beep and the game freezes constantly. I know its not the media as I only use real taiyo yudens burned at 4x on imgburn.

1. is my modchip really a d2ckey? is there any way to tell without opening it?

2. should i just send in the wii to be replaced with a new chip? perhaps a wasabi?

3. is there any way I can keep the chip and not have to constantly take out and reinsert the disc?

Please help, im desperate...

Just because your using taiyo yudens doesn't mean it isn't a burning issue.

I would try different media.
Try burning at a faster speed.
Try using a different DVD burner.

You will need to open up the Nintendo and check to see what modchip you have. There is really no easy way to tell unless you open it up. As for getting a new modchip I would stay away from wasabii. Either get a ARGON, Infectus2 or D2Pro.
