ok all that said, whats happening is, its hanging at the READ part
i d/loaded the lastest xbox creator 2.8 v still the same, i was using the 2.5 version of this software, also tryed the schrtom software, but counldnt get that working either, tho i didnt know how to use it ,(couldnt find tut on it ) lol
any help would be good
ohhh anything except reinstalling xp lmao i hate loading all my programs again, im gonna try reflashing the drive again with the kreon

it wasnt this hard when i first bort the drive months and months ago, i installed it , flashed it, and walla it worked first time, now its not working
i have tryed 10 different pressed discs, and ones that ive already backed up, and they hang as well , is there something that im missing here guys??

ok i got a copy of xbox creator 2.3 , and i got it to start the process however now its stuck at 3.51 %, at the processing secruity sector?? now its saying unrecoverable read error
i guess this question is in the too hard basket, lol
i think ive explained it , its sooooooo frustrating to have it work for soooooooooooo long and then not working now
i have .net framework service pack 1, just d/loading .net framework 3.5 to see if that will make a difference
there is something i must of d/loaded once and now its gone due to the reinstall, i wish i had of made myself a tut in ms word lmao for future reference as i do with a lot of the stuff i learn ggrrrr lmao

the xbox creator was seeing the kreon v081 firmware, altho the drive itself was not flashed with it from my reinstall gggrrrr, and i really thort i did it lmao
couldnt find it on the net anywhere, lucky i had saved it to an external HD for these very occasions lmao
so now im working with the lastest xbox creator 2.8v annd also the
Xbox creator auto backup and that works a treat also, so alls good in this household now lmao

after many un install reinstall of the samsung drive hehe not to mention the software reinstalls

that is odd. more likely that it was something in XP that was not seeing the firmware and the reinstall of the firmware made it show up. Because the firmware is stored on the DVD drive, so a windows re-install would not change anything as far as your firmware is concerned.
PS, it is not that the question was hard as far as the responses you got. look at the time you posted this. A bit late in a lot of areas.
