Well I've experimented something about an hour ago.

Problem: Why does higher firmware games run on my 3.71 m33 PSP?

So, I got a 15mb game PQ which requires 2.71 firmware. I edited the PARAM.sfo in UMDGen thank's to MRGOOEY's guide.
But instead of lowering it I put the PSP_SYSTEM_VER to 3.95.

I saved it and put it in my PSP.
It Worked!

So that means any games requiring higher firmware will run on 3.71 m33-4
Games Ive tested:
Final Fantasy: Crisis Core = 3.80
God of War = 3.80
Patapon = 3.90 or 3.80

Try it out!

but now I'm playing Bleach HTS 5 which requires 3.90 firmware!
