Hi guys, im just gonna go straight to the point.

Background: -Win Xp
-Acer 52RW
-Nero 5.5.10.9
-AMD Athlon XP 2500 256 ddr ram

I burn a lot of CDs. Last month i've made about 250.
Almost all of them were perfect, no coasters. But...one day i burn a video, and i decide to watch it right away, from the CD - i open the cd, and i try to open the video with DivX player: doesn't work, the whole system freezes. So i try to copy the file on hard-drive, and watch it from there. The copying process is 50% complete, when ;surprise, surprise; i get a big fat "cyclic redundancy check" error message in my face. "Ok" i say to myself calmly "its just some stupid accident"...and it was...kind of. After that incedent i started to check "Verify written data" box, so i was sure the CD was written properly and without errors. Than strange things started to happen...i was getting "Verification Failed" on my burns. At first it was one cd out of 25, then it became 1 of 15 , then 1 of 5. Last three days, i tried 15 times to burn different files, and i was succesfull only with 3. The strange thing is: the CD is readable, and is completed, i can even watch the film (i burn films for most of time), for an X% of duration. But then it gets to a dead spot and the whole thing freezes. So i try to copy it to my HD, and then *TA-DAAA* "cyclic redundancy check" happily pops up to annonce that i messed up yet another CD....I don't calmly say "Ok its only an accident" anymore, i scream like a savage tribal at war and throw my CD out of the window so its crashs, and explodes into pieces on the other house's wall...(i swear its a CD cemetery under my window now..) Allright let me narrow down choices a bit:

-It's not my CDs...i've been burning them, as i previuosly mentioned in great quantities without problems before. Plus i'm really neat about my media, i keep them very clean, they don't get out of package unless they are getting burned.

-My Nero is bundled, it's not a pirate version, and it's pretty good version (5.5.10.9), plus i've been using it without problem before.

-Yes i had other burning programs before (Roxio Easy CD creatorAlcohol 120CDrwin (or whats it called?)), but again, i've been using all this wothout any kind of problem. Plus i searched your forum and followed the suggestion of uninstall them all, and re-install Nero. So i did, and it still didn't work. (btw i tried to burn CDs with them too, thinking Nero wasn't doing the job properly, but again it didn't work)

-Again i followed some suggestions from forum and installed in desperate attempt ASPI thing. It didn't work.

-I burned my CDs in almost labaratory condtions, everything shutdown, and the RAM on max after the ram scrub....ugh. it didn't work.

-I ran AntiVirus soft, i ran scan-disk, i ran anti-spyware soft...nothing.

-I don't recall installing anything, or making major modifications to my system before the whole thing started. I'm about 80% sure of it.

UGHHH godamnit im desperate, please help me out. The thing is driving me crazy, i got like 20gig to burn..........ANY, i mean ANY tips will be appreciated. Thanks for reading my post, and please help me out.
