I need some extra room to fit my movie onto a single DVD-5. I tried to delete AC3 5.1-ch before but when i viewed the movie it didn't have audio. I figured since all I have is stereo that AC3 2-ch would be all I needed. Do I need to keep both of them or not?

id say only keep the AC3 5.1-ch. It will play in dolby digital if you have it, otherwise it will play in stereo.

So if I get rid of the AC3 2-ch, the DVD should still play with audio?

yes, but i think it actually says AC3 6-ch. When you rip to you harddrive, play the movie off the harddrive to make sure you have sound.
