Couldnt someone change the header of a homebrew channel to make it appear as a regular virtual console game?

That way Nintendo couldnt detect the homebrew; they would think it would be an actual game.

That doesn't really affect any bricking. Nintendo is not going to look at your Wii, figure out what channels you have, see that you have a homebrew channel, and then send you something that bricks your Wii.

What they are more likely to do is just to fix the bug that is being used to sign these channels. Once they do that, it won't be possible to create these homebrew channels (until another exploit is found).

Do you mean the "bug" as in Twighlight Princess?

No, I mean the "bug" in the signing of channels and custom discs. The one that the Trucha Signer uses.
