Ok, so I got my d2cpro and played some older backup games on my wii (3.1U) and they all worked. Then, i tried to play mario kart and ssbb and when I clicked to start it a blank screen would come up. I later found out that I needed 3.1U v2 or 3.2U. (Also, I brickblocked both those games because they were pal)
I looked through all the main guides in this thread and I have a lot of confusion over what I should do. Most of the tutorials are for wiikeys and i have a d2cpro, so I just want to make sure 100% don't brick my wii.
Ok, so i have to update to 3.2U . Can I use my wii and use the update fucntion in my wii by connecting to the internet (because everyone seems to have downloaded the updates and i can't find the update on a website by searching for it)? I also ask this because since it is modded, will something bad happen to it? Plus, will the D2cpro need anything else loaded in it to make mario kart/ssbb play?If I can't use the wii system update, does anyone know where to get the update? Also, is it that when a new game comes out and it goes to a blank screen it requires an update?
I am sorry if all these questions seem blatantly written out in the guides, but I want to make sure it works for my modchip so I don't brick my wii. Thanks.
