I've got a d2c chipset and am trying to mod it. what is the best modchip that is most stable, and that can be used with wii clip?

also, if you remove the firmware updates on a games image file, your wii cannot brick because to this, only through nintendo? thanks!

Argon, Infectus2 or D2Pro is the better choice.

They are more future proof with the Jtag programmer system. Added DVD upgradablity on these Modchips have also raised the Modchip a little higher then Wasabi. You have the option to update via DVD which has limitations. But also have the Jtag programmer that can completely rewrite the firmware on the modchip if the need arises.

Wasabi only has DVD upgradbility which has limitations to what settings can be updated.

As I understand it is that the Modchips have a base firmware that is written to the Modchip but also has firmware settings written to SPI Flash. A DVD upgrade can change the SPI firmware settings but not the base firmware itself. Where a Jtag programmer can change both SPI firmware settings and the base firmware as well.

I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong but what I have read that is how it works.
