I am the ultimte yuppy at cell phones being locked, what unlocking does, and so forth. I don't even know what that IMEI or IMSIE or whatever number is.
I found out about this *3370# thing, that if your phone is about to die, you can I guess dial this number, and it'll pull up some kind of battery reserve, and give you some more power to use. Then, when you go to charge again, this secret reserve will recharge also.
Now the funny thing is, when I try it, I dial *3370#, and call it, my phone actually tries it! It says 'Requesting....' and then says not available or something like that. My wife has a motorola, on our same tmobile plan, and when she tries it, her phone tries to do it also, so it appears there is something to this little trick.
But why won't it work on our phones? How do we unlock our phones? How can I make this little battery trick work? Any help out there?
