Trouble mounting subtitles on dvd r!!!

Can someone help me mount subtitles on my new dvd r I try to burn. I try to mount them on Convert X to dvd program I use but they dont seem to work. So could someone help me out and let me know what I am doing wrong. Thanks!

Well I try to mount the subtitles but when the dvd is already burned I cant get them to show when I playback.
