Apex conversion problems for psp 3.80 m33

Whenever I convert a video for the psp with Apex super 6.44, everytime I move the file to the psp it says file not supported. I checked and made sure that it was mp4 and the apex said it was converting to psp format but i am still having the same problem. Please let me know how to fix this problem.

In the 100MNV01 under MPROOT, but the file shows up on the psp video screen but it won't play.

I also use psp video express and that works fine, but it's only the trial version so I don't have many options with it. So i got a full version of apex hoping it would work better.
