Is the U.S. version of Lumines patched?

I know Sony has patched the Japanese versions, but I haven't heard any reports of the U.S. versions being patched.

The newer Lumines games are sold as Greatest Hits titles. Does anyone know if these are patched?

i believe only the japanese greatest hits have the 3.51 update. i bought lumines brand new sealed (non greatest hits) for $20 after 3.51 was released, and it didn't have the update on it.
