Upgrading HDD after Ndure 1.1 install?

Hi,
A few months ago I softmodded my xbox with Ndure 1.1 on Splinter Cell. I installed it on a stock xbox hdd. Now I think I will need more space. I was wondering how I can upgrade the xbox's original 8gb or 10gb hdd to a much bigger one (Remember, the xbox has ndure 1.1 on it) Do i have to do the hotswap thing where you unplug the xbox hdd while it is booting up? I really don't want to have to do that. I am asking this questing because all of the tutorials i have found about upgrading the hdd are all if you havn't put the softmod on yet.
