Ok, so I opened up my xbox 360 120 GB HDD, and took out the actual hard drive disk, and now i have plugged it up to my computer via sata to usb, but for some reason, the pc is not detecting the hard drive, anyone know how i could solve this?
your hd is an original 360 120gb right? if it is, its been formatted in fatx, like all xbox and 360 drives. u must use xplorer360 to access it (google is ur friend). Thas how I did my hotswap with the xbox drive, usb to ide lol hotswap use xplorer360 and bam, i found my eeprom. but use xplorer360 to access it
Yea, my drive is an original 360 120GB, but even in explorer360, it cant find my drive, i think it may be because i dont have drivers for the device im using, which really makes me mad, because the cd they sent me says it can only be used with Windows 98, like WTF in 2008, what is the use of that CD?
