SMG with d2pro (PAL) does it work?

has anybody got the full (unscrubbed) PAL version of SMG to work on a PAL wii with a d2pro? all i get is a black screen.

I dont want to run the scrubbed version as there is a lot of compliants about it freezing at the 3rd stage
