if your tv supports 480p, which most modern tv's do, then go for it. the picture is more crisp when in 480p.

there's actually barely any difference I bought a cable about a week ago and was unimpressed to say the least.

about the only difference I noticed was the channels have a kind of static effect you couldn't see before.

I even tried putting in different games to see which ones made the most use of it, no real difference in any of them. if you've got a hdtv with reasonable control over colour, contrast and brightness you can get the same effect and the slight blur of the old cable actually makes it look better in some cases.
