Ok,I got a
*Pandora battery(TOOL)
*MMC(used the magic installer to make it)
*Old PSP with firmware 3.9

THE PROBLEM:
I put the pandora battery in the psp along with MMC and the PSP doese not turn on automatically like it should. I try to turn on with swich still nothing. So heres the question why isnt the PSP showing the screen where it gives me an option to downgrade the PSP? All i get is nothing i even checked the battery and opened it...the leg off of the service chip is gone like it should be.I made sure everthing was correct.

is the battery charged? if you just bought the battery, you at least need to charge it for an hour.

what size of memory stick did you use (256-2gb only), and is it a fake. Check these and if everythings is correct try remaking the MMS. I've run into problems of something getting corrupted making the MMS.

I used the Pandora's Battery easy installer, but that required you to use a homebrew application to install the firmware. I'm pretty sure there's a guide on either this forum or another forum that takes you step by step through using Pandora's Battery on a OFW PSP.

Also, make sure not to plug in the AC while you're doing this, or the window doesn't pop up. At least it doesn't for me. And use your magic memory stick as little as possible for anything other than downgrading or unbricking, or sometimes it undoes the magicness and you'll have to redo the magic memory stick making process.

Ive done thousands of ways of making the MMS and my PSP dont turn on....i Really want to downgrade my psp but going through all this crap i already spent 4 days working on this and yet on youtube some guy simply can downgrade there PSP...i triple checked Everthing...but nothing....somone give me a link to the way they formated there MMS.

One more thing when i start the upms on PSP it says an error message after it loads just like if you were to take a psp game in the middle of starting up...i got devhook. It would be cool if i had a simple step by step from beg to end.

My only suggestion is to find someone with a 1.5/CFW psp, or someone who has a version that can be downgraded, and use that PSP to redo the magic memory stick using the easy installer I told you about. Just doing the installation over should fix it.

If it helps, make sure to put in the card BEFORE the battery, don't insert an AC adapter at any time, and give the PSP 10 seconds before reattempting the pandora's battery procedure. It takes about 5 seconds to turn on for me.

you don't need to do that.

use THIS guide to recreate the MMS. only guaranteed to work on computers with XP.
