different LED sequence on new 9wire d2pro???

hi

I have done a lot of mod chip installs but tonight i installed a new 9 wire d2pro, it all works fine but my only concern is the LEDs that are on the chip. On all my 15 wire installs the red LED flashes when a game is inserted then the blue LED flashes as the disk is being read, but on this install as soon as the wii is powered on i get a quick flash of the red LED followed straight away by a quick flash of the blue LED then nothing as the disk is being read. Is this normal for the new chips? im not to concerned as all seems to be working fine but some feedback would put my mind to rest
