my tv only has rca plugins, sony does sell the cables for rca cables but can not play games on the tv, this is a major problem for any homebrewers. So my question is is there any way to make games work through rca cables or convert exponents to rca. help would be grateful
Google "FUSA PSP". It's homebrew software that is trying to do just that. I've been impressed with the results, though it's got a long way to go. Right now, the beta version works well - but the image gets vertically stretched. They'll eventually allow fullscreen.
Alternatively, the alpha versions do fullscreen - but most games are painfully slow.
By the way, GBPSP Kai is the only homebrew game out that already has TV Out successfully implemented that I know of. You run the program, plug in your cable - then hit home twice. I've gotten mixed results however - I get a blurry image.
