Ok, so I just bought a new computer and got a VIA 6421 SATA PCI card to go with it.

I can do BenQ's and Samsung's alright, but for some reason it doesn't handle Hitachi's very well. It gives some weird 'delay' error when I boot the Slax CD, like "Port not responging, might be slow" or something similar.

Is there anything I can do to fix this or am I screwed on Hitachi's? Do SATA PCI cards differ much? 'Cause I got a pretty cheap eBay one.

Try Using The Slax 2 Cd Form 360MODS.Net
and if your already using the new Slax Cd. try Using tho Old One

Or U Can Use The "Two Wire Trick"

Hehe, "responging".

Anyway, I'll give it a try once my new hitachi drive shows up. The old one finally got shot mechanics, poor fella.
