Hi guys i have found some1 to mod my wii for me Called TalkToFrank
on the the xbox-scene.

Was wondering if any1 in the uk has used this modder and weather or not he can be trusted.

its just the wii is pricy equipment to send to some1 u dont know

If you think the Wii is to pricey then don't send it to be modded. There is always a chance that something could go wrong.

Moder stiffs you.
Wii is damaged during delivery.
Wii is damaged during return.
Wii is lost in mail.

I sent mine out and it returned fine. But I also new the risk I was taking and took that chance.

I'm just about to send my Wii off to him to get my openwii chip replaced with a Wiikey. He's been extremely helpful so far. giving me lots of information on all the chips and which one is best as a replacement.
He says his turnaround is 3 working days and the price seems very good. I'll post it tomorrow and when i get it back i'll feedback in here.
If in doubt send him a mail but i'm sure he has loads of positive feedback in the xbox-scene forums.

I received my Wii back this morning from Frank. Here is my experience.

Communication was very good at first.I sent off the wii last week Monday. The wii wasn't picked up from the post office until Thursday (he was out on the day of delivery) I sent a mail asking when it would be done he said I'd get it Friday. But i didn't so i sent a mail asking if it had been sent but a card not left. I got no response to my mail. As it was a bank holiday i waited until Tuesday but nothing so i mailed him again and he replied saying that there was a problem but he'd sorted it out and it had been sent and i would receive it today (which i did). I had a Wiikey replace my openwii pic chip. All the games that didn't work do. So i'm happy.
So its up to you. he took longer than expected he said 3 working days)and the communication wasn't great once sent. I wasn't too fussed about the wait as i'm revising for my finals. But all in all its back and working and the price was good.

this was to get a wiikey pre soldered to the v3 clip

well my machine is still happily playing all games.
I'm sure it'll be quick. He had a slight problem with mine as he was swapping a chip.

Received my presoldered wiikey from frank

he also included a triwing and phillips screwdrivers
I also received the wiikey config disc and 1.9s firmware

This arrived by recorded delivery

And all this only cost £25

A great price and service he comes highly recommended in my view
