I recently installed a chipmod pro 2.0 for ps2. After installing i tried it out and got nothing. The red light came on but with a blank screen and the reset button didnt work but eject did and would get it out of stand by but still no video/sound. So i opened it back up check all the connections evening redoing some. Then checked for bridges and shorts. Found nothing and then tried again but this time the reset button works but still no video/sound.

Since then ive read through tons of thread on different forums most seem to say its my bios connections but im becoming certain its not. So then i checked all the motherboard fuses and found out ps14 fuse is blown but after reading up on it all that fuse is supposed to do is cause problems with the disc tray opening. Im gonna replace but my question to you is this. Do you think that ps14 fuse is enought to cause the ps2 to not even up at all? My ps2 is v9 and heres a link to the v9 fuse diagram link

V9's require a laser save mod. Did you happen to add that mod?

Did you put electric tape over your chip when your finished?
