Im gettin payed $40 to hack someone's slim. What I did was use the pandora, and magic mem stick and YES! it worked.

BUT the problem is NO SOFTWARE works on it at all. but I thought "no prob, i can fix this" cuz this hack makes it 3.71 m33-2, and I have done the same hack with 2 other non-slim PSPs, and hombrew didn't work either. So I used the 1.50 Kernel add-on, and they worked perfect.

BUT THE SLIM DOESNT SUPPORT KERNEL-ADD-ONS!!

And the weird thing is, hypothetically, if I did download a game on the 2 non-slim psps, it would work after i hacked it without the kernel add-on. If I put a game on the slim, it wouldn't work at all!!

How do I run hombrew on a hacked Slim?

I heard of something called the dark-alex time machine. I downloaded it and it seems VERY confusing. Also it says it makes the slim 3.60 (which is too low)

Is there a better solution than this? If not will this be able to run all the hombrew, and if I pop in Crisis Core, taht too (cuz this is a low version)?

find homebrew that are not in 1.50 kernel. i'm using psptube and snes9xtyl 0.4.2 on my 3.90 m33-3 slim.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Im pretty sure i dont need to resort to getting a new set of programs, for I know friends with the slim hacked who have the same programs as me. Besides, this doesn't solve why games wont work on the slim

you do need homebrew in 2.xx/3.xx kernel. the homebrew you put on the slim are in 1.50, which is why they worked on the other two fats you did.

also, the iso driver has to be set to sony np9660.

Do what I did. Use Universal Unbricker V3 to the teeth, and It'll work perfect. I have a SLIM 3.90 M33-3.
