I have a ps2 v4 gap but i am getting a different ps2 from a neighbor who doesn't want it in about a week, im not sure what kind it is but im getting it in about a week. I am new to ps2 modding but done psp modding for 2 years. Should i get ultimate swap with flip top, or get a mod chip, what should i do? Also is it possible to read games from usb or a psp.

If your soldering skills are pretty good, go for the chip. If not go with Swapmagic/flip-top.

You can load games through USB (through USB extreme) but it is rather slow and not many games will work when run through USB. As for the PSP, I've never heard of anyone loading PS2 games off it. Though it does have a USB interface, so I'm not sure.
