There isnt N..E way to farmat those. You can only format DVD+/-RW, not DVD+/-R. There is no software that can erase dvdr,the only way you can erase the dvdr is using high grade sandpaper.

Yeah, i also agree to that there is no software that can erase dvdr.
Its a nice suggestion.

I recommend using the No. 10 "Pink Pearl" erasers. Be sure to eraase both sides of the disc.

How about the Stadtler Mars White architectural professional erasers. After all, they are professional grade.

I think the "pink pearls" are more flexable and allow you to get into the "burn" pits for a more complete data erasure. But I am sure other brands of professional erasers can be equally as effective.....

I find the microwave does a pretty good job.. you can always make an identical copy while erasing too. Just stick the blank face to face with the one you want to wipe and nuke on full power for about 45 seconds.
Impressive results... watch through the window for maximum effect.
