SCANDISK PSP 4GB MEMORY CARD

Hello forumers,
Can anyone advise the correct pathway to save a game correctly into a Scandisk memory card?
I own a 2GB Sony memory card and have no problems to transfer the game this way: ISO FOLDER -> ISO OR CSO GAME TITLES
Please help me for this Scandisk card. I am worried that the one I'm holding is a fake. :(

what?
to check if a card is fake just put it into the psp then go to the memory card icon on game music e.t.c then click triangle then go to information if it says magic gate unknown its a fake if not its real

Well the funny thing is that i have read at some many other places people saying that they have had fake cards but just been lucky with them working fine ... 8GB fakes have always proved out to be the tough customers

Hello all,
Thanks for the reply. So does anyone own a Scandisk memory card? 4GB or others?
Can I know how to save the games correctly?
I did the same as my Sony memory card, but when I scroll to the games section, it reads "NO GAMES".
Really appreciate some kind souls' help. Thanks.

they should be in X:/iso/isoandcsohere.iso where x is the psp drive
theres no different way to transfur the files because the memory sticks are different.
i had a 1gb sandisk genuin and it worked fine the same as my fake 4gb

Oh dear! I just checked and it says UNKNOWN MagicGate! I have been cheated.. Grrrr...
So does this mean I cannot save any games into it anymore?

hi driver, i reformat the memory card.. so it's only left with ISO folder and inside is VIDEO folder. that's all. i saved the game into ISO folder but it reads no games..
so where do i save the games into? do i need to create any new folders? please help me...

did you put it in the video folder?
if so take them out and put them in the iso folder
the video is there for umd videos in iso or cso format

nop. i saved them in ISO folder, BUT outside the video folder. but it reads no games. so does this mean it is really fake??
so if i want to refund this memory stick, what do i tell the shop owner to prove that it is fake? they might say it is real, talk their way out of it, etc..

2) whered you get it from
3) does music show up or other files.

1) my bf bought it for between 55-60. i think..
2) a neighbourhood shop
3) how do i test if music can be shown? which folders to create?

right you got ripped of if its fake
for 3 just put a mp3 into music in the root of the memory sticik x:/music/song.mp3
you should be able to take it back as it was from a shop if it was bought online it may be more of a problem
just take the card back show them a real one and what it says and then show them a fake one and show them what it says on the psp
it unlikly that you will get your money back

that means i have to go buy a real one first eh?
how can i make sure it is a real memory card before buying? i think you cannot even trust business that has a physical infrastructure, not to mention online purchases.. it is risky..

if they show ip then there might be a problem with the iso file
the 2gb memstcik that you said you had check to see if thats genuin as well

not yet. what does ip mean?
the 2gb works fine. only this scandisk 4gd gives me many problems.

guess it may be typo.
@Mchief, sry but im a halo fan. I cant noticed that it also means Master Chief (Mchief) from Halo. So why that name. Make a profile on aD so i can write this on ur wall instead of posting here...

Yes, it is a typo. It should read as Sandisk.
