V2.0 to 1.5 stuck at 1.00 corrupted upgrade

Thank you for viewing.

I modded my 2.0 version to 1.00 or at least thats what version it says in the system info. I go to

Psp/game/update/eboot.pbp and it says corrupted

I am really stuck on what my next step should be. I read I should consider upgrading to 2.71 and then downgrading to 1.5. How would I upgrade to 2.71 from where I am stuck at 1.00 or how could I fix my corrupted problem.

I followed this guide

To the letter. When it gets to the step to go to Game , Memory Stick, I see only Corrupted Data.


Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seems I solved my own problem.

I decided to wait till I got a reply and play some Midnight Club 3. I threw the disk in and it told me I was version 1.00 and needed to upgrade to 1.50 so I said UMMM OK. I plugged it in and let it update. It went to 99% and gave me the error I was looking for. I restarted and I did NOT get any other errors it simply went to 1.50.

I uploaded an emulator to check and it runs perfectly.


I am sure someone would of came along and helped me so I do thank people in advance. Hopefully someone searching after having the same problem I did will see this and fix it themselves.

I have a fat psp. My current firmware is 1.50.


If I went higher to one of the new firmwares would I be able to play ps1 games on it? if so what firmware would I aim to reach?

you should go to cfw

to sum it up cfw still has the heart of 1.50 (if you have a fat)
but all the new sony updates of latest fw

hi you can go from 1.50 to the latest custom firmware HERE

Alright I followed that guide and am now at the latest CFW. What loader do i need to play psp iso's?

nothin, cfw has already built in loader. Reformat ur stick and put the iso or cso in the ISO folder or ur psp

Silent Hill Origins Says cannot run so does Castlevania


EDIT. I did not have a game in the drive. Put a game in and loaded iso and its working like a charm.

To Run, shove a UMD inside. or u can change it to NO-UMD

Welcome

1. Go to ur recovery mode ( Turn off ur psp and turn it on again whiel holding R)
2. Go to Config
3. Change the UMD mode to NP9660
4. Have fun.
