TVersity not playing H.264 files

Just got TVersity to stream my videos across to my PS3. It plays my Divx files but not my H.264 encoded files.

Downloaded the latest version of TVersity and apparently it does support h264 so why isnt it playing?

I also have the Combined Community Codec Pack installed which has ffdshow as party of its package.

It does support H264, it just depends on what profile it is. Set TVersity to transcode when needed.
What did you use to convert to H264?

I havent, the files are animes that I have downloaded from fansub groups. I've set the transcoder to the recommended setting- only when needed.

Files are mainly .mkv files but a few are .avi, neither work when the video is encoded by h264. All other formats work though.

And what do you mean by what profle it is?

There are certain profiles for H264.
* AVC Profile: Baseline, Main or High Profiles
* Maximum bitrate: None specified (although testing shows stutterin occuring above 20 Mbps)
* AVC Level: 4.1
* No B-Pyramid and P4x4 support

I suggest you look here to get some understanding.

It is a simple process and doesnt take that long.
Just extract your h264 stream, run it through H264Info at 4.1 profile then remux.
