hey guys how are u doing i need some help hacking my psp i did alot of research but yet im a lil confused. i have a psp with firmware 3.80 to downgrade i need some opinions on how 2 get started. i was told 2 use pandoras battery and the magic stick but when i read the sites it tells me i have to have the custom firmware on there 1st and thats y im confused. if anyone can show me step by step it would b great.

First thing, edit ur post and delete ur email. Email not allowed in here,

Now u need the pandora's battery (the part where there is a battery and a MS). There is three ways of getting it.

1. Buying the Datel tool battery
2. Softmodding the Battery - Finding a friend who has CFW
3. Hardmoddin the battery - openin the battery and pullin a pin

Pick one and ill give u a guide

The best would be buying the DATEL tool battery from Code Junkies. If not, then softmod the battery. Cuz there is little change of destroying the battery. And last, hardmoddin, i guess it will be okay if u follow a good guide and read all the instuctions.

Do u need a guide. I have a guide that other ppl say it works.

mrgooey is right your best bet is buying the tool battery, and you should also go get a mem stick about 512 MB... so that way you don't have to use your current one.(You can if you want though)Hardmodding has dire consequences if you do it wrong.
