PSP: Bricked or not?

About to buy a non-working PSP. Seller claims that the power light comes on but the PSP doesn't and he has move onto a new PSP.

It sounds like it is bricked but I want to ask what other possibilities could there be?

Can't tell the horrors I've been through buying "Bricked PSP" from ebay . But I'm pretty much OK cause I buy them mostly for parts.

Could be a cracked screen, burned out backlight or fuse, water damage(don't ask), possibilities are endless. Is the seller's feedback good. PM me a link and I can give you a better opinion.

i rather not trust that. Cuz i think ppl who brick their psp knows there is the pandora's battery. IMO

I checked it out for him and it does look legit. How many I've bought off ebay, I picked up a knack in being able to tell the difference between somebody covering up a massively screwed PSP and someone who just doesn't have the knowhow or patience to be bothered with a fix.

No guarantees but I would definitely own up the one he's looking at.
