i have a new psp slim & lite, running 3.80 firmware i think. i have an official sony 4GB memory stick, but when i start the game it tells me "there is insufficient space to save, 1600kb is required to save game data" - despite the fact that my 4gb stick is almost entirely empty. what is the problem here & how can it be over-come? thanks in advance...

try formating the memory card

to check if its fake go to the memory card icon and then click triangle and then go to information if it says magic gate unknown then its a fake.

iv got a fake 4gb though and i can save outrun2 c2c fine (from umd)

oh dear, it appears to be fake :-( never knew of such problems, the 2 other games i've bought to date have both worked fine...

back the saves up and everything else on the memory card and then format it and see if that helps

just done that. no good - still exactly the same problem, that was done with formatting the memory stick actually through the psp

o well you'll have to do this get the 32mb card then save it on that then copy it to the 4gb and see if that works.

would this "fake" memory stick be another reason why i'm finding it very difficult for any videos to run properly, despite converting them, etc?
