Okay here's the problem, i am currently at 3.71 M33-3 CFW and i want to upgrade to 3.90 M33 (possibly -2) i have a phat psp if that helps. i am worried that upgrading might do something to my monster hunter 2 save data or my Cwcheat on my psp. I don't feel like getting all the hacks all over again. I'm also afraid it'll brick my psp and i don't fel vlike having to deal with that. If anyone could help me, that would begreatly appreciated. thanx. :)

Back up your save data onto your PC before you upgrade, then you can always copy them back if they do get corrupted (which the shouldn't).
Also, if you follow the steps correctly, there is no more chance of bricking than there would be by upgrading official firmwares.

if you have a slim you can use Skype with the new FW, and if your in Europe there is the Go! messenger (although i think you can get this in other regions too by changing the region settings in recovery mode).

Also, after 3.80 M33 you can use the Network Update feature to upgrade to the newest M33 firmware straight from your PSP.
