Using PSP As A Universal Remote Controller

I am interested in using my slim PSP as a universal remote controller to control my television.

In the past, I was able to use my fat PSP as a IR remote controller to control my televsion. After i changed to a slim PSP, the homebrew software "PSP Universal Remote to version 1.2" no longer works. Does anyone know of any new universal remote control program that works on a slim PSP?

ir shell works on the slim so try that
