Hi,
I need to unlock my Nokia 6230i -

Im from South Africa - my network is with Vodacom - pls is there help for my phone :P

try these codes

#pw+005033123427673+1#

try the first one first it shud work if not try the second
how to use
remove simm card and power on phone.
enter to code provided
to get the p and W and + signs use the star key(*) by pressing it quickly and you'll get it

verify the code before entering the last digit into the phone

please reply and say if it works....if it doesnt work do not try anymore come back and say it doesnt work.u only have 5 free tries and if u use two codes and it doesnt work u have 3 tries remaining

do not enter the same code twice if it says code error try the next code if it doesnt work do not try anymore come back and say it doesnt work.

sorry to hear the codes didnt work. and yes it means that ur phone is now hard locked this means that even if u get the correct code now it wont work u need to get an unlocking cable to unlock it now

ok listen up u got 3 options

first: go to ur mobile provider and ask them to unlock ur phone they have no right to lock it after all it is YOUR phone u DID BUY it and they hav no rigt to lock it.also they cant charge u a fee otherwise u cud report them for bad company practise...

second: buy an unlocking cable online and do it urself. cables cost about 50 american dollars and depending on which unlocking cable u buy it will be able to unlock other models of nokia phones i recommend this option only if u know u have a lot of friends who have locked phones and they can pay u a small fee like 10-15 american dollars and u do it for them that way u get back the money u paid for the cable and som extras and as a bonus u can also sell the cable online on ebay or here if at any point in time u decide u dont want it anymore

three: u can visit an unlocking shop and have them do it for u professionally note it may cost u about 50 american dollars to get it done

three options choose which one best suits u
