it wont get past the security sector, have tried several different versions of back up creator and they all do the same.
also checked halo3 and gears of war and they both rip fine, just seems to be gta 4.
any suggestions?
i have been away for a while playing with new hobby so i thought something different was in play.

wich dvd drive do you have? samsung sh 162c/d or sh 163??
and have you tried the 2.8 version of XBox Backup Creator?

I have a Samsung Sh 162c and i have Xbox Backup Creator 2.8 and i have make a perfect copy of GTA 4.. (without any problem)

i think i will try to reformat my pc and rule that out.

Bet it's the disk itself is messed up because mine and most people's copies ripped just fine.
