So, here is what I would like to do:
I often rip small clips from dvds with aimersofts dvd ripper and convert them with aimersofts video converter for presentations (all legit under fair use for education) and then use them from a usb stick or directly from the hard drive. What i would like to do is take the short clips and have them on a dvd with a simple, clean menu where I can just click on the clip and it plays and when the clip is done, returns to this menu.
I can't seem to find a program that does this very easily and I am worried about the loss of quality in all the transfers...what do you think is the best and easiest way to do this (on Windows)? Freeware is great, if it costs a little that's fine, too as long as it makes my life easier :)
'DVD Flick' can assign a menu item to each clip - the clips can be avi or mpeg.
If your clips are 'VOB' - append .mpg to the name else it won't see them.
In this case it might not suit, because it creates a 'Main Menu' and from there you can go to a 'Title' menu to select the individual clips - but when that clip has finished it returns you to the 'Main menu' again - not the title selection menu.
If you use the program, there are two settings referring to the menu;one is under the 'Project Settings' tab - the other under the 'Menu Settings' tab.
I use the beta version without problems.
