Hi i have had a good look around the internet but can really find a definitive answer so could some one point me in the right direction for modding the Benq drive to play back-ups. If i purchased a Blaster would i still need to do any hardware modding IE cutting things on the MB and installing the swith etc? Is there a way in which i can jst flash the drive without having to do Hardware mods any links will be greatly appreciated everything ive seen seems to be out of date and was written about a year ago sorry if this has been answered before thanks for the help thank you

follow the tut slim gave you. you dont have to do any ctuuing to install the blaster it should've came with instructions. anfter you install the blaster just follow the instructions for flashing in the tuts. a blaster just makes it so you dont have to open the box every time.

cigaro1 you can place any 12 (1234567 12345)numbers at this point. It has nothing to do with the mobo. The program will create a folder with those set of numbers. So to make a long story short no, any set of numbers are fine.

Why do they always say to enter your serial number? Anyways, anybody can get their Xbox 360 serial number from inside the main menu under the "System Blade", then go to console settings, then scroll down to "System Info." It should list the console serial number and console ID. And you can't remove that information as it's engraved in your consoles motherboard.

So if you're flashing multiple consoles, you can keep track of what firmware goes with each console.
