I have never had a problem before burning dvds w/ these 2 softwares.....I have tried to burn different rmvb's to dvd lately and now i am getting absolutely NO SOUND. I use winavi converter & image burn, and have never had this happen, It's I accidentally changed a setting or something....I even uninstalled & reinstalled WINAVI converter........So it must be image burn? Anyone know what to do??? I can't live like this. lol. Seriously, any help would be appreciated.

Nope, Imgburn only burns the data it is given...it doesn't manipulate the data in any way. Does the original file play with sound before you encode? Try DVD Flick (free) and see if you can reproduce the problem.

Dvd flick doesn't convert RMVB files though...because I already have it, plus it takes a million years. I can't understand why this would just happen all of the sudden, i've been burning dvds fine. im going to uninstall & reinstall Image burn anyways & see if that helps.

Imgburn has nothing to do with your problem, trust me. So does the audio work before encoding, you didn't answer the question.

You might try TFM too, I've not used it but it does support RBMV...thought DVD Flick did sorry.

I know that the rmvb files audio works....but i don't have a player that i can use to check the vob files (after conversion) to make shure the audio works......this all started one day when i used my webcam to film a short vid & make an animated gif...at least that's the only thing i can pinpoint the sudden loss of audio to...i've checked my audio settings on my pc & they are totally fine..this just doesn't make sense. so it has to be winavi! but i already uninstalled & reinstalled it though. and still no audio when i burn...I'll uninstall & reinstall both, if it still doesn't work, I"ll try TFM...i'll let you know what happens.

MPC will play the vobs after conversion...my concern is the sound before the conversion.

Try this: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/...lmedia_rmvb.cfm
