I heard that the 360 had a price drop in Europe during March. Has anyone heard if there will be one in the U.S.? Perhaps before the holidays? If so I'd like to wait before I buy one.

As far as I know the price drop brought it down to US levels, so that's not a sign it's going to drop. I'd say before '09 you'll see one, but realistically around Christmas time to try and cut into the Wii market.

yea there really inst any more holidays besides christmas for M$ to have any reason to do a price drop. unless a new console hits the scene. which there are a couple in production but they are TBA. EA is actually making one of them.

ya, the new M$ console is officially being made. So if anything, wait for that to come out. Unless you want to try and flash it. Because for all we know, they could have a new drive.

There is already a new drive in use. The Lite On drive starting showing up in Aus. refurbs. a couple weeks back.
And with the Jasper 360 due to be released this Fall, I'd suspect chances are quite good that we'll see that new drive being used in those retail consoles.

Homesick, do you feel the need to respond to EVERY single user post here??? Me and many other people on here are tired of you highjacking this 360 forum and ruining it with your lame comments, which no one besides your mom cares about. Sir, you need a life-please go away.

homesick - 'fraid i have myself noticed that you reply to many posts with very little actual comment. In future if you want to follow threads simply subscribe and watch them without commenting (i do that with well over 20,000 threads so far) until you have something of value to add.
But i'd advise you stop adding less than useful comments to posts as at the very least it smacks of post padding..

really creaky? i find that very interesting as i noticed i have actually helped alot of people. and i do it well, and i devote alot of my time helping people on here asking nothing in return. so when i write a paragraph i dont see how that is very little comment. and as for roadawg i think i have seen you make 2 maybe 3 actual good responses. so basically you are saying that responding to posts is bad? because i went back and looked at my post and i deffiantly had much more to ad than very little. some wernt much yea, but it was either a direct to the point response, or me saying your welcome or thank you. the mods were in such an uproar about people not being nice on this forum directly and now its as if you are scolding the people behaving themselves and actually trying to make this a better thread. and i also follow alot of threads on here i just dont subscribe to them, just because i dont get an e-mail dosn't mean i dont check them. i will continue to help the people on this forum, and i will continue to respond to as many posts as i can, because i feel that is what this site is about. and i'm sure those remaining silent agree with me. thanks for listening.

Okay, not sure if i was overly harsh as the posts i'd seen seemed sparse; that said i didn't go looking into your posting history; i'll take you at your word and i won't derail the thread any further
