I've had a look round most places and havent seen this way posted anywhere so i thought i would write it up.

So you have a hard modded battery but cant afford to buy another one yet? or just dont want to waste a good battery?

well heres the guide to turn that hard modded battery back into a normal battery again

note: this is not a permanent fix, only when the memory stick with the file on it is in. so when you insert a memory stick without the file on it, it will be a pandoras battery again

note: doesnt work on psp slim

download the zip file at the bottom of the page

unzip it, in it will be a folder called normal boot loader and a file called eeprom.bin

copy the file eeprom.bin to the root of the memory stick

open up the normal boot loader folder

make sure you extract the files to the desktop because its a cmd based installer and i wont work normally from the rar archive extract it all to your desktop.

run the program called install

it will then ask you to connect your psp to the computer do that

then it will ask you to push Y push Y

and there you go

as long as you always boot your psp with the memory stick in it will boot up normally. just remember to leave that eeprom.bin file on the root of the memory stick.
Here is the download for the normal boot, http://rapidshare.com/files/117530572/normal_boot_loader.zip.html

1. using a different eeprom will make the battery unstable 75% of the time.

2. if you hardmod, the way to return it to normal is to resolder pin 5.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .
