first of all,i would like to warn you that i m really really noob.all your flaming can be done later.

i havent played my psp for an extremely long time.my psp is the fat one.now my psp is ver 1.50.if i m to upgrade it to a newer version,wat version would u recommend.i cannot get the pandora battery and i cant hardmod my battery for fear of spoiling it.i dont live in a place which sells pandora batteries and i cant order it.now my question is,can i play new games with cso files with ver 1.50 or do i have to upgrade to a newer version? i have the newest devhook but i cannot access it i have no idea why. my psp just cannot detect it.

any help would be appreciated greatly.thank you

u dont need pandora or such if u have 1.50. Just upgrade to 3.90 M33 with this guide

3.90 m33-3 id say :) but i looks like alot of ppl like the OE stuff not really shure of the diff but 3.90 m33-3 is the newest gl ^^

ok,now i have another problem.i went to the thread and downloaded the upgrade.i copied the psp folder and the pbp file.is the pbp file supposed to overwrite something? because it didn't. and when i switch on the psp i couldnt find the kxploit permanent patcher.i dont see anything there except for my old emulators

what is wrong?
p.s i tried to find my recovery menu but i couldnt.i pushed down the right shoulder button while switching on the psp but nothing happened.it just started normally.btw my ver is 1.50.does it have a recovery menu?

recovery is for psp with cfw already and idk much about kxploit cant you just run the upgraders right from Dark alexs website if your on 1.5 tho? wait for someone eles to respond

So what firmware do u have now ? 1.50 ?

1.50 does not have recovery menu ( can be put though).
