Hi i have started a new company that mod and repairs alsorts of consoles. I will not name it because of the advertising rule. My question is my customers will be coming with all different versions of the playstation 2 fat and slim, is there a mod chip that you could recommend that is easy to install (non-solder if possible) that is universal and is around the £35 or less marker?

cheers

solderless modchips are not worth it. most people who buy them solder it on because the connections won't stay.

stick to the top three modchips
-matrix infinity greendot
-dms4
-crystal chip 2.0

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

please help i have only found 2 universal chips but they are too hard to install as the guide on the website is one picture it isnt very detailed and there are no guides anywhere, not even youtube...

please help

The solder less chips are crap and un-reliable.

All the solder chips are not easy to install like, say...a ps1.

The duo 3 ultra is compatible with version 1-16. As is the matrix infinity (dont need a different chip for each model...maybe your thinking of a clone?) And I believe the newest version of the crystal is as well. The duo 3 is your best bet. Cheapest, most basic.
