Doesn't look like that one can be hard modded to me, i may be wrong though.

I'd recommend buying a DATEL TOOL BATTERY, will be easier than cutting and trying to restore your battery anyways.

What the heck is that? If you can't do it, buy one from dealextreme, they sell them cheap. Takes like 11 days to get it though.

it's a 3.6V 1800mAh Sony battery
I bought the PSP on June 4th 2007 at BestBuy which came with this battery

Is that better?
