Well ive got a tool battery and i made my magic memory stcik about 10 minutes ago and i used this guide http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610313

i turned on my psp and i pressed x for it to isntall 3.71 m33 and it did, at the end i pressed x for it to shutdown, it did, i turned it back on with the tool battery still in there, and it popped up with the options again, i turned it off, took out the battery and put the charger in and tried turning it on, still the options came up..........how am i suposed to boot up my psp and play my homebrew games??????????

take the damn memory stick out! lol its still booting the memory stick by the sounds of it.... dunno why it shouldnt but a lot of these tool batterys i have noticed tend to lock it in service mode....

just format ur memory stick then try again with a normal battery

that should work but try putting in a reg battery as well its very strange it can still read the ms tho lol

the only battery ive got is the tool battery, is there anyway of using the tool battery instead of having to buy a normal battery???

how does that work? did you buy your tool battery? or did you make it? if you made it, then try to convert it back, if not then buy a new battery, they only cost about 10 to 20$... not that much

i bought it becuz i fried my original 1 trying to make a pandora battery......i gess ill have to buy a new 1.....

yea you wont be able to play regularly uless you have a reg battery but still odd you cant get to xmb without the battery in did you try with no ms and no battery? does it say your on cfw?
