Not sure if this is the right forum for this thread, but here goes....

how do people change the game start up screen on their PSPs?...Ive seen a Crisis Core one (which was awesome)...and some fancy flashing light ones on YouTube....

how is this done?...does this have anything to do with using themes?....

Nothing to do with Sony themes.
But modded themes called [CTF] not [PTF]
[PTF] are just basic themes. No sound change no font change...
[CTF] are super modded. It has everything!! Fonts, Gameboots, Audio u name it.

In order to use a CTF.
U need a CFW PSP.

Google a guide installing CTF. =D

From what i've seen this is the #1 way ppl make unfixable bricked psps i wouldent recommend doing this. But if you gonna die if you dont be shure to make backups of Flash 0 and Flash 1 and w/e flash files gonna get messed with in any way but even that dont garentee a fix iif it screws up.

cxmb does not brick ur psp. It runs from the MS. Not PTF ... unless u turn off the psp while its installing...

Only if u put flash files (like prx, rco and such) into ur flash drive can brick

so CXMB is safe....do i have to DL a certain version of CXMB for 3.71 M33-4?

also, using these themes...current wallpaper wont be displayed no more?

and can they be reverted back to normal?

U can change the wallpaper whatever u want. If u dont, u can either use the waves or use the current background from the theme.
