...do you need help installing firmware or getting a game to play...Just follow the link in my sig for how to downgrade. As for the game not playing you would need to at least tell us what you're trying to play to help-not to mention what type of PSP you have (assuming slim).

you CANNOT install custom firmware directly. you MUST USE pandora's battery and mms on 3.51+ official firmwares.
